Drawing Dr C- Wednesday 19/08/09

After meeting Forensic Psychiatrist Dr C, at River House Bethlem Hospital on the 19/08/09, I made these notes/drawing.
Dr C spends two days a week as a Forensic Psychiatrist working with patients with Personality Disorders, and three days a week researching molecular and neurodevelopmental basis of aggression. He described himself as both a “Grown up Doctor and a Perpetual Student”. When I asked him what he had in common with his patient, he said they shared a juvenile sense of humour and a curiousity about how the mind works. He especially likes collecting and eating mushrooms, cooking offal (spleen, heart, liver). He remembers wanting to be a psychiatrist when he was in Primary School.
